version of Justin Morgan. She is a Bay, standing 14.3hh, with an
animated chiseled face, beautiful calm eyes, large nostrils, great

Breeding Standards
In order to start our breeding program we needed to make a list
of our top priorities for Selection of our breeding stock to
give you the most exceptional Morgan you will ever own and for us to
be successful in our endeavor. Here are some of the things that are
mandatory to us when selecting our horses.
-
A well put together Morgan Horse, with excellent
conformation, so it does not breakdown early in life, and so that
the Horse has the ability to successfully compete & win in any
discipline chosen.
-
The Morgans chosen MUST display true Morgan type
not only by the way they look but also the way they move and act.
-
As a general guideline we use the original
descriptions and images of the Justin Morgan Horse and Hales Green
Mountain Morgan.
This list can go on and on…… the above are the main qualities we
look for in our breeding stock to produce the most exceptional
individuals possible
for you & our breeding program.
If it does not Look like a Morgan, act like a
Morgan, move like a Morgan, than it's not a Morgan.

When you see a true Morgan Horse, you will know it
is without ever asking "is that a Morgan?"
About Lippitt
Morgans
The Lippitt is a distinct & very unique horse in
that it has no recent out-crosses to other breeds, resulting in the
highest percentage of the original blood available today. Most of
today's Lippitts will average between 22 - 25% of Justin Morgan's
blood. Therefore, Lippitts also possess more of the original type
and qualities of their founder, Figure, otherwise known as Justin
Morgan. With this said we need not only concentrate on percentage
but true Morgan type as well.
The only way other Morgans alive today have
percentages even close to the Lippitts is because individuals have
part or half Lippitts that were extensively line-bred/inbred to
create their high percentage individual. As is our Noelle.
